This announcement is from:
OneApp Software, <oneapp@iname.com>
I would like to let you know that we have just released version 5.2 of OneApp English-Italian. OneApp English-Italian is an English/Italian dictionary for Macintosh users, containing more than 23,000 English words with translations into Italian. You can find all the entries that contain any particular English or Italian word by typing or pasting the word into the Find box and pressing the Return key. The dictionary collects all the entries that match what you've entered, and displays the English and the Italian side-by-side. You can copy words from the dictionary and paste them into another document. You can collect English words (with their Italian translations) in a separate window and study them together. If you have Apple Text-to-Speech you can listen to the English vocabulary, and you can type or copy other English text into a separate window and the program will read it aloud. The user can easily create additional plug-in dictionaries to supplement the dictionary provided with the program.
OneApp English-Italian requires Mac OS version 7.1 or higher.
OneApp English-Italian is shareware, can be freely distributed, either online or on CD-ROM without restrictions, provided that the original package is included.
You can download the program from the OneApp Software Home Page:

John Bodine, <jbodine@gatenet.com>
Web Site Garage <http://www.WebSiteGarage.com>, the world's largest online Web site maintenance and promotion service with over 2.5 million online Tune Ups to date today announced several new online products to help webmasters improve their Web sites.
The only product of its kind, Browser Snapshot <http://www.WebSiteGarage.com/snapshot> lets users see what their Web site looks like on most Mac and PC platforms, three different versions of Netscape and Microsoft browsers and three screen sizes. Browser Snapshot takes 18 different screen shots of your Web site in only one hour. The results are emailed to you in a user-friendly format and provides quick and easy retrieval and archives of your site's snapshots.
Combining the easy-to-use interface of Web Site Garage and innovative technology, Browser Snapshot continues the trend of helping to improve the Web. Priced at only $9.99 for one time use or $99.99 for a one year license Browser Snapshot allows webmasters to create sites viewed consistently in all browsers and platforms.
Just a side note:
I created the Macintosh engine that loads the site, takes the picture, and FTP's the image back to the server. At one point the company had five times as many PC's as Mac's taking the images. The Mac's kept up with the PC's and required no human intervention while the PC's were under constant supervision. Recently the service was inundated with requests and in less than a day I was able to purchase and setup 5 new G3's to add to the G3's already in service. The new Mac's worked flawlessly, no problems whatsoever. Chalk up another victory for the Mac!

I'm pleased to announce the release of WriteNow Enhancer. WriteNow is a terrific word processing program, but it does not include Tool Bars and some of the other features we have come to expect from newer word processors. WriteNow Enhancer provides WriteNow with a Tool Bar and several other significant new features that update the program to provide the productivity of a modern word processor while preserving the small memory footprint, ease of use, and quickness WriteNow is famous for.
New Features Added To WriteNow
In addition to providing quick, single click access to many of WriteNow's features, the following new features have been added to WriteNow:
1. With a single Mouse click you can display all the characters -- including hidden characters -- that are included with each font on your system and insert them into your document.
2. You can now view and tile all WriteNow windows with a single Mouse click.
3. You can now create and store multiple signatures for your documents. With a single Mouse click you can insert any stored signature into your document.
4. You can now quickly and easily create a glossary for items you use repeatedly in documents as well as items stored for future access. These stored items can be just a few words, a quotation, or several paragraphs - -- you can customize the glossary to fit your needs.
5. You can select and insert any one of several pre-configured date formats into your documents with a single click of your Mouse.
6. With a single Mouse click you can easily adjust your point size -- at a resolution of one point at a time.
7. The name of the font, the point size, and the style of the text you are working with are always visble.
8. You can now apply an alphanumeric sort to the selected rows in your document.
9. There is now a "Print One Copy" option, eliminating the need to navigate the Print Dialog box.
Requirements
A Macintosh computer with System 7.0 or later and a 68020 or later processor. WriteNow 4.x (while I have not tested WriteNow Enhancer with WriteNow 3.x, I expect it will work fine with it).

Deciding to build a business around the Mac has several advantages, one of the most important being the ease of networking multiple machines. As the business grows, adding more computers and employees, the need for a network to facilitate communications becomes critical. The Mac makes this easy with several options for networking computers and printers. This week's column covers the basics of planning a network that will tie together the multiple computers, printers, and other peripherals in the office. Next week's column will explain network protocol options along with providing information on how to properly build and configure the network.
