Berklee College of Music in Boston is looking for a Macintosh Support and Repair technician. Solid knowledge of Macintosh hardware, MacOS software, and Mac dial-up and networking connectivity is required. Strong communication skills and a team attitude are essential. PC knowledge and/or Mac/PC compatibility solutions familiarity are desirable. Certification for Apple Repair or willingness and aptitude to acquire the same are highly desirable. Knowledge of music technology is not required for this position.

A New Web Site and Cross-country Tour Tackles the Questions Of Success, Happiness, and Personal Greatness

Quest-4 <http://www.quest-4.com> is a cross-country journey and new interactive web site exploring the elements of success in America today. The project presents a variety of views and opinions on success and how it is defined across the nation. The web site follows the site's creators, Chris Moeller and Brian Ardinger, as they travel coast-to-coast interviewing people from all walks of life on the subject of successful living.
Ardinger and Moeller decided to create the Quest-4 project after talking with numerous friends and colleagues who, like themselves, were struggling over career paths and life decisions. "We hope that by showing what others are doing and how they are pursuing their dreams, we can encourage others to take action toward realizing dreams of their own," said Brian Ardinger, 30, who recently left his career as a Silicon Valley marketing consultant to head up the Quest-4 team.
To tackle the challenges of composing a web site on the road, the Quest-4 team armed themselves with an Apple PowerBook G3, QuickTake digital camera, and an ISP with roaming dial-up service.
The project, designed by and aimed at members of the so-called "Generation X", is currently in the fifth week of its six-month tour. The journey will take the Quest-4 team throughout the lower 48 States ending up back in Los Angeles in early 1999. A book will be published about the journey and its findings later that year.
