This announcement is from:
Roger P. Glovsky, <rglovsky@fcr.com>
LinkUPPP! Turbo provides high bandwidth connectivity without high cost!
FCR Software today announced the addition of LinkUPPP! Turbo to its family of remote solutions. LinkUPPP! Turbo is a successor to LinkUPPP! 2.1 which includes the additional support of analog Multilink PPP. Available immediately, the Turbo version of LinkUPPP! will allow users to combine two modems for doubling access over standard analog phone lines to both internal and external networks. With LinkUPPP! Turbo users can connect to the Internet or an office router at speeds up to 112kbps making it an inexpensive alternative to other high bandwidth solutions (such as ISDN, ADSL or cable) which are still unavailable in many areas. Additionally, users can enable the bandwidth-on-demand feature to automatically bring up or down the second phone line as needed. This allows the user to dedicate one line for data while the other line can be used for fax or voice calls as well as to provide additional bandwidth whenever the second phone line is available.
LinkUPPP! Turbo 3.0 is available Immediately: on Disk for $89.95 or via FTP download for $79.95
For more information, go to <http://www.fcr.com>.

Man, this must be the day for corrections:
First, a blanket apology for the occasional "missed deadline" that some posts have gone out over the last few months. Believe it or not, scheduling mailing lists is not an exact science. In spite of the fact that I'm forced to dump many a GREAT post because I receive it a day or two before (or even ON) the day it occurs, occasionally stuff slips by. Oops.
Next, recently I mentioned as an aside about the Powerbook G3 having a DVD drive option as an add on, the week before it was publicized that this option was no longer available. It was true when I WROTE the piece, and I forgot to edit it before it went out. Oops, again.
Finally, I have never received more mail complaining about a product than ZCurve's BASIC for the Mac product. To be honest I had no idea that so many people were having problems. If ZCurve is listening, they might want to check on their customer service department, because there's got to be SOMETHING wrong when people complain this much. Oops, redux.
There you have it...I'm sure I missed a few things, but I apologize for them any way.
Wow, I feel so...redeemed somehow. ;-)
