[5] URGENT: Submit Rhapsody Applications for Apple CD by July 6

Within a few months, Apple will ship the first customer release of
Rhapsody. To help users explore Rhapsody 1.0 features and compatible
applications, Apple is producing a Rhapsody Third-Party Solutions CD,
which will feature demo applications, documentation, and marketing
materials. To take advantage of this free opportunity to promote your
applications to Rhapsody users, follow these guidelines:

* Submissions must come from developers who are either Select or
Premier members of Apple's Developer Program.
* Demos must take advantage of or demonstrate Rhapsody-specific
features. (Applications that only run within the Mac OS Blue Box will
not be accepted.)
* Applications must be relevant to one or more of the Rhapsody target
audiences: publishing, education, servers, or developers. However,
Apple may accept applications that don't fall into of those categories
if they provide vital services or show off Yellow Box technology.

If you're interested in submitting an application, send the following
information to John Signa <signa@apple.com>:

Company name
Product name(s)
Product description(s)
Main contact name
Contact's e-mail address
Contact's mailing address (no P.O. boxes)
Contact's phone and fax numbers

Submission requests must arrive by 8 a.m. PDT, July 6, 1998. Due to
limited resources and disk space, Apple can only accept a limited
number of applications. Apple will let you know by July 13 if your
application has been accepted.

[6] Rhapsody Multibooter 1.0d13 Available

This free utility from Apple lets you choose between Rhapsody and Mac
OS startup volumes.

installation. If you opt to include the software without running the
movie, you can license QuickTime for US$ 1 per copy and QuickTime Pro
