Like any other computer platform, games were developed for the Macintosh. Now let's face it , I am not a big gamer. However I do appreciate the simplicity of all the early Macintosh black and white games. Most of them are great little diversions from every day work.... I like those kinds of games which I can play now and finish now... One of my favorites for early Macs was Stratego. This was based on the popular Milton Bradley board game. The person who wrote this game admits that it is too easy to play on the Mac. Despite that it is still a fun game if you can find a copy of it.

Some of the strangest programs that I found for early Macs did absolutely nothing for the average user except waste your time. Shown above is a pleasant diversion called "Diatom". I think I got this off a BBS system many years ago..
