HFSDebug

Why this message?

OK, I've Downloaded Hfsdebug, now what do I do with it?

Now that you've gotten the hfsdebug file, you'll need to put it in the Contents > Resources folder inside your copy of Mac HelpMate.

First, hold down the control key and click on the Mac HelpMate icon with your mouse, and choose "Show package contents" from the pop-up menu that appears:



A window will open revealing a folder named "Contents." Open that up by double-clicking and you'll see a folder named "Resources." Put hfsdebug in the resources folder, and then quit and run Mac Helpmate again. Now, when you go to launch hfsdebug from within Mac HelpMate, you should see the message:



Now all you need to do is pick the operation from the pull-down menu and hfsdebug should function properly! Thanks to Amit Singh for such a wonderful tool for OS X!
