1) What is iClip Lyrics?
iClip Lyrics is an app that shows the Lyrics field of iTunes' Info Panel. If lyrics are already there, they will be shown in the iClip Lyrics window, otherwise iClip Lyrics try to launch a remote search for the lyrics of the playing track. iClip Lyrics is a lyrics editor, too; you may edit the lyrics in the iClip Lyrics window. 2) Why iClip Lyrics shows an "Accept" button for some lyrics?
By default, when iClip Lyrics finds a lyrics, it doesn't save it; you need to click on the "Accept" button to save it in the tagID3 of the playing song. If you want that iClip Lyrics adds automatically the lyrics without your intervention, you need to setup the related option in the "General" preferences pane.
3) Why some lyrics found, have the char � ?
The lyrics contains this wrong character because it's copy, on the remote database, has an incorrect encoding.
4) I've noticed that sometimes iClip Lyrics shows the message "Lyrics found and added!" but there is no lyrics on the lyrics field of the track's info panel. How can I solve?
We are still searching for an answer about why and when this happens, it seems that iTunes have a sort of streaming protection on AAC and Apple Lossless files, so it can't add lyrics on the TagID3 while playing is running. To avoid this behaviour, iClip Lyrics has a feature that let you delay the updating of the track. You can activate this option from the "General" preferences pane.
5) Why iTunes stops for a few time when iClip Lyrics finds the lyrics?
When iClip Lyrics finds the lyrics, it sends to iTunes a request to write the lyrics in the track that iTunes is reading (playing). So iTunes stops the playback for the time needed to save the lyrics! You can delay the updating of the track (from the preferences pane) to avoid this behavior.
6) Why, sometimes, the lyrics found are not showing up on my iPod/iPhone after a sync?
This happens if you have synced your iPod/iPhone before you run iClip Lyrics. So, to show up the added lyrics on your iPod/iPhone, you need to launch iClip Lyrics before you start a synchronization with you iPod/iPhone.
