Note: Clicking on the status pane will switch to the next status mode. SuperSync will try to switch the status to the most relevant mode unless locked.

Main Library Table

The Main Library Table displays a cumulative listing of all of your libraries' files, along with information about their synchronization status and location. Each column can be sorted in ascending or descending order by clicking on the column header. The following details the different columns and their functionality:

More columns of track information can be displayed or disabled in the View Settings.

Filters and Playlists

SuperSync lets you view filters and iTunes playlists from the upper left hand table. You can choose to show or hide either the playlists or filters, by selecting the "Show Filters" and/or "Show Playlists" from the Control Menu. You can also increase the amount of height the filters and playlists in the View Settings.

The Filter Table gives you the ability to find and or filter out files based on location, flags, and status.

Files in the SuperSync library can be sorted through various filters to display only the files you wish to see. As a default, SuperSync has all filters disabled (checked) to show all files (except synchronized remote). Filter enabling and disabling is performed by using the checkboxes associated with each filter on the Quick Find window in the upper left corner.

To show all items that match a filter, select the table checked item. Hold down the cmd key to select multiple rows. Uncheck an item to filter out that type of track.

Playlist Tree

Playlists are available when your local library is an iTunes library.

Playlists are viewed in a tree structure similar to iTunes playlist viewer. SuperSync color codes the playlists by whether they are synch'd or not. Gray playlist icons are local playlists. Blue playlists are only in the remote library. Green playlists are synchronized playlists.

Source Icons

All files in your library have a colored dot next to them:
gray Gray dot means a local, unsynchronized track
Blue dot means a remote, unsynchronized track
Green dot means a local synchronized track.
Turquoise Green dot means a remote synchronized track, on your remote library. These tracks are usually omitted so that you don't see two of every synchronized track.

Pie charts are used to give you an idea of how much of each album, artist, and genre are synchronized. Blue is remote library, gray is local, and green is synchronized.

Flag Icons

Tracks in your library may have different "flags" associated with them. Flags can represent a state of the track that helps you manage your music. A short abbreviation is available for many types of flags -- a quick overview is available by selecting "Flag Codes" in the Status Menu, which will show a short list of flags and very brief explanation.

Flag Description
Local Unsynchronized - In local library and not remote library
