For those who don't want to read documentation, this overview can get you started using 90% of SuperSync's features. This setup assumes you want to synchronize between two libraries over a network. If you are currently using a shared network drive, you should skip to the working with a network drive section.
SuperSync starts by loading in your iTunes library. A second "Remote" library can be opened, which could be another networked SuperSync, an iPod, or drive.
All tracks in your library have a colored dot next to them, which identifies which library they are in:
Gray dot is a local, unsynchronized track that is not in the remote library
Blue dot is a remote, unsynchronized track that is not in your local library
Green dot is when the exact same track is in both libraries
Tip: Before attempting a complete synchronization, at least for the first time, you should synchronize only one or two files to make sure they're going where you expect them.
All of the Quick Start guides below assume that you are using iTunes as your default local music library. You are not limited to the way these are set up--you can use SuperSync as both a client and server and access multiple types of remote libraries (iPods, disks, and networked SuperSyncs.)

- Install a copy of SuperSync on computer with your primary library, then launch SuperSync, when the program is started your local iTunes library should appear.
- Open the SuperSync Preferences (
,) General Settings and tell SuperSync how you like your music organized.
- Go to Network Preferences and configure the SuperSync server with uploads enabled, and set your passwords.
