I just upgraded from a G4 running 10.2.8 to a 24" Imac running 10.5.1and I found it to be quite easy. If you go to apple's website click on support and do a search on "migration" all will be revealed. If you don't already,you might get a membership to " Version Tracker" --"Mac Fixit" comes with it this will help you to upgrade your apps. Good Luck
