The laws that require ERs to treat patients has nothing to do with medicaid. They wouldn't necessarily require the hospital to give him anything other than emergency treatment. Medicaid is a nightmare and needing medical help doesn't qualify one for treatment. Regardless of legal requirements of both laws, the practical reality of them is quite different.
My guess is that his request is about as real as your understanding of the world. You probably think that the propaganda from hate/RNC/talk radio is about reality. It isn't and that isn't hard to figure out, but people have to want to give up the emotional pleasure they get from hating and accept the challenge that living in reality requires.
