Sad fact of life. Filtering out GG posts is the only way I've found to reduce Usenet spam to manageable levels. Sadder is I then rely on other users to reply to the killed GG post to tell me there's anything worth reading there (MacSOUP only hides killed posts, it still downloads them). It doesn't feel quite right, but I know of no other solution (that I can implement, anyway). I'm willing to entertain better solutions, though. -- If you're not part of the solution, you're part of the precipitate.
