You are welcome to stop by just give me a call. Keep in mind though that a router dedicated connection is like buying a mini unix computer. The box was more than $600 bucks. I can still hook up via modem though and perhaps you ought to see an optimized connection will do. You didn't mention what ISP you were using. Some here in Memphis in my opinion oversell their capacity. I have connected to a few locals and gotten dog slow response with a fast connection. Maybe an ISP change is what you need, but then again perhaps optimizing your modem, FreePPP version and Open Transport will do the trick.
