As a matter of fact, I am now able to once again log on "Automatically!" Looks like they have finally gotten their act together ( a little ).
Don't be too fast to jump to RoadRunner, just talked to a friend who says they were down most of last week, also. He is checking on DSL. I think one needs to be within 5 miles of the nearest "switch" to access DSL (or is it for ISDN?) at any rate, I'm way over that.
Also, when I went into MindSpring to upgrade my service, I discovered that they now offer 3 mailboxes with the standard, unlimited package. Now the wife and I can have separate boxes AND a general box. I'm still very happy with them, as far as service and support goes.
Had heard about a deal with EarthLink through USAA but waited over ten minutes to find out it wasn't as good as what I have now.
