Suzie does a couple of cool things but nothing like what I had available for the Amiga. It was fairly simple to write door programs to link into CNET. On the Mac it is a tad more complicated.
I understand the new user manager they are working on will have more hooks and will let us pull whatever we want. I could do what you are talking about on a web page using filemaker pro for example and a applescript ACGI and have the results output to a web page.
If I was smarter and had more time I probably could set up an applescript to pull the info from the suzie file and compile it and output it as a text file. Once there I could set up an alias to that file that would display at logon.
If you get energetic and know filemaker and applescript (anyone?) you could take the file format from the library and get it to pull the last ten users to log on and output it to a text file from that userlog. I can have suzie run every 5 minutes if I want but you would need a way to fire up filemaker to do the script by the clock. Oh well, possible but time consuming. Perhaps when the new user manager comes out I can do this.
