Well, I'm sure most of you know that FreePPP 2.6 alpha 4 and OT 1.1.2 are out. Anybody tried these out yet (besides me)? I haven't had any problems at all.

One REALLY nice feature of the new alpha of FreePPP 2.6 is that closing a connection is MUCH MUCH faster. It used to take forever, and now it's maybe 1-2 seconds at most. That's the way it should have been before. There are some other new features, but they're not all that evident unless you go looking. It's definitely worth the download if you have a PPP account. For those of you who are sticking with 2.5v2 out of fear for instability, you shouldn't be. I've been using 2.6 since alpha 1 was released. It is actually MORE stable than 2.5v2, and doesn't have any added conflicts since it is based largely on 2.5. I've been very happy with it.

Any other opinions?
