1. More Options for Power Mac G4 than Ever
How would you like your Power Mac G4 configured?
Need a lot of storage? You can order your Power Mac G4 with up to 216GB of storage space.
You can also order the optical drive you want--CD-RW drive, Combo drive, or Apple SuperDrive--with any of our Power Mac G4 computers.
Which graphics card would you like? All three--the ATI Radeon 7500, NVIDIA GeForce4 MX, and NVIDIA GeForce Titanium (which is now shipping)--offer dual-display support.
And not only do you have four stunning flat-panel displays to choose from--including the now-shipping Apple 23-inch Cinema HD Display--but by using an Apple DVI to ADC Adapter Kit, you can enjoy a workspace of over six million pixels.

2. Built to Serve
How would you design the server of your dreams?
Would it harness the industrial strength of Mac OS X Server? Maximize the performance of the PowerPC G4 processor? Feature a system architecture optimized for server performance?
Would it feature unparalleled storage scalability? Capacious hot-plug hard drives? Next-generation remote monitoring and management tools that will help you keep your network running at full tilt, 24/7?
And would you pack all of those features into a rack-optimized 1U design, so you can make the most of your deployment space?
Meet Xserve. Everything you want in a server.

3. Fast, Elegant, Innovative...and Coming Soon
At the Worldwide Developers Conference last week, Apple offered developers a sneak peek of the next major release of Mac OS X.
We code-named it Jaguar.
Scheduled for release late this summer, Jaguar will bring you a series of exciting new features. Take, for example:
* iChat. Instant messaging as it was meant to be, iChat will let you use your mac.com account name as your "handle" and converse with buddies on AOL. * Sherlock 3 will offer a sensational Yellow Pages channel--among others--complete with maps and driving directions. * Address Book. You'll no longer need to search everywhere for your contacts. With the new Address Book you'll have a central repository for all of them, including all your iChat buddies.
And that's not all.

4. Already Ready for Jaguar
If you can hardly wait for this summer to install the next major version of Mac OS X, you'll be pleased to know that our new PowerBook G4--with its ATI Mobility Radeon 7500 graphics processor--is ready to take advantage of one of Jaguar's exciting new features: Quartz Extreme.
Thanks to Quartz Extreme, Jaguar will be able to use the graphics processor to speed the rendering of 2D and 3D graphics, leaving the PowerPC G4 processor to tend to application-specific needs.
The result: graphics performance on the new PowerBook G4 will be even snappier than it is today, and the new processor already provides unparalleled 2D, 3D and multimedia graphics performance.

5. New Features Sharpen iPhoto 1.1
You said you'd like to
* Email a photo to a friend with one click (using Mac OS X Mail)* * Adjust brightness and contrast in Edit mode * Search for photos by Keywords or Comments (set your choice in Preferences) * Pick a photo for your desktop * Create a custom screen saver with a single click * Show all EXIF picture data
Now you can do all of the above--and much more--thanks to the many new features we've added to iPhoto 1.1. Snap up your copy today by visiting our iPhoto website.

* You'll need access to email and an account with an Internet service provider to take advantage of this feature.
6. Tips for Ten: the Helpful Dock
The Dock will let you launch and quit applications, open documents, navigate to frequently used folders, load your favorite websites, control iTunes, and keep your desktop uncluttered.
But did you know that you can also use the Dock to see a list of all the documents an application currently has open?
You can. It's as simple as holding down the mouse button. Try it: move your mouse over the icon of one of the active applications in the Dock--preferably one in which you have several documents open--and hold down the mouse button. A list of open documents will appear, and you can point to one you'd like to work on.

7. Technically Speaking
You're winging your way cross country, PowerBook G4 (or iBook) in the tray before you, and one of your favorite DVDs keeping you entertained.
When the flight attendant stops by to serve dinner, wouldn't it be great if you could pause play with a keyboard shortcut instead of pulling up the DVD controller?
You can. In fact, there is a series of keyboard shortcuts you can use while watching DVD movies on your Mac. We describe them in our Knowledge Base article, "DVD Player 3.0: Keyboard Equivalent Controls." Give'em a try.
But you will need Mac OS X v10.1 if you expect to defeat the evil Baron Schtopwatch and his fleet of robot planes, and as you can see from this QuickTime trailer, WingNuts' arcade action really soars.

MATLAB is coming to Mac OS X with the next release of the MathWorks product line later this year. MATLAB integrates mathematical computing, visualization and a powerful language to provide a flexible environment for technical computing.
Star Wars: Episode II: Attack of the Clones. About a Boy. Signs. Minority Report. Bourne Identity. The Salton Sea. High Crimes.
