Retro Review: Blood Bath
By Kirk Hiner
Released in 1995 by Underworld Software, "Blood Bath's" premise is simple; shoot people. But don't get the wrong idea...this game is nothing like "Unreal" or "Duke Nukem." In those games, you can move. "Blood Bath," on the other hand, takes its cue from those arcade games with the handguns chained to the cabinet. You point the gun at the screen and shoot the guys that pop up from behind barrels and boxes and such. Only on the Mac, there's no gun (at least I hope not). It's just you, your mouse, and a bus load of prison escapees.

This week's Farr Site is entitled "MacHippies and Other Wonders" and features Email Insight, What Really Happened and Why It's Cool, and How to Scare Your Fathers. John and Yoko selling Macs? Brilliant iMac paradox?? Vindication of the Sixties??? Woo-hoo!

Apple and third party developers have come a long way in solving many of the cross-platform issues and in most instances, there are solutions available.
