(If this is the wrong place to ask this question, please tell me where the right place is! I've posted it before but gotten no answer, even though I thought this was the place to post TeleFinder User technical questions.)
I recently upgraded to TeleFinder User for Windows 2.5 which installed itself in a new directory called TFUWIN, leaving the TFUSER directory which contained the older version of TeleFinder I'd been using before. I no longer have need of the old TFUSER program group and directory, I presume.
My question is: Both TFUWIN and TFUSER come with an Uninstall icon. Is it safe to run the Uninstall fom TFUSER (to delete the old version but keep the new), or will it get confused and delete some stuff the new TFUWIN needs too?
And if that's unsafe, what alternate procedure should I use to be safe?
