I have had the following problem reported on the latest beta of the windows software:
when a user is replying to an instant message, if **another** instant message comes in then if he types a space (he thinks it is a space but allows that it may be another character because the whole thing goes by so fast) then the new IM box goes away--making it functiuonally impossible to IM with more than one person simultaneously.
