This means that TeleFinder is trying to communicate with the server, but either its message or the reply is not gettting through. This will resolve itself by getting a relaiable connection.

You can use any modem file, even a Mac modem file. Just rename it mdmsetup.dat. Its an easy problem to fix. The release version will ship with the proper modem file.
