Yes--exactly--and they can also see their time running down.
They have reported that this problem can occur when they are **not** in IM mode and doing something else such as replying to e-mail. The only time I have seen it personally is when I have had the chat/list of users online window open, so it may be that they might be doing other things with this window open, and that their perception of it being an ubiquitous problem may be incorrect.
Likewise, when I saw it, I was able to still sens IM's and only do that. I couldn't do anything else.
Eventually the computer freezes--you seem to be able to stay on for roughly 10 minutes. When it freezes, the connection is lost.
The error message while online is Please Wait one moment and try again
The error message after disconnection is TFUSER has performed an illegal operation...terminate or cancel at at this point the user must cancel
