If you have a creative labs sound blaster card in your system and install a plug and play modem with no jumpers you will probably be in for a real nightmare. The creative labs sound blaster card wants to share the dma channel with the other plug and play device. Even if you gice you modem a different IRQ setting it still has to share the dma channel with the sound blaster card.>>
so what do you do to correct this--I have seen this and I just don't get how to fix it--I dread the forthcoming school year when people come with this problem--and yes they are dead in the head--win 95 machines
