Hi Matt,

The DMA channel in Windows 95 has to be shared with the sound blaster card. Go into the settings section under your control panels and devices. Make sure that you don't have an IRQ conflict in there. If the modem is trying to use the same IRQ setting as another device you will not get it running. Select a configuration setting that tells you it's not conflicting with anything. 90% of the time in Windows 95 especially with plug and pray equip. you'll find an IRQ or DMA conflict.
