I personally prefer it where it is, and if you notice the majority of programs do it this same way. It appears that this style is more or less the status quo.

You can change the config file that is included with the new beta TFUSER not to load Netscape. You can have it load the program of your choice by simply editing the tf_helpers.config file.

hlpr    NetScape(tm)   MOSS    .html
hlpr    NetScape(tm)   MOSS    .spml
hlpr    NetScape(tm)   MOSS    .htm

Can be changed to BBEDIT for TF user or Simpletext or Internet Explorer, whatever you put in in place of it. It is a tab delimited file that you can edit with any text editor.

I agree though that turning it off would be nice. I sometimes download all the changes from my web site to my second machine. I use many different editors and graphics types. I pulled about 15 files over and then watched my machine load all the applications up.
