Ok. I have confirmed the corruption in the TF/User settings file, but have not duplicate the corruption process. The corruption was limited to scrambling of the name of connection method ("Open Transport TCP/IP" was hopelessly confused with graphics text chars). When I tried to open it with Resedit, I was warned that the file was corrupt. I therfore selected the option to extract as many resources as possible from the damaged file. All resources were recovered, but the damage was still there. I compared the damaged resource to a non-damaged copy I made earlier, and edited the name to fix the problem, then saved the file. I next attempted to use it, and everything worked ok. --- Daniel O'Leary, Sysop KloneZone Mac - A TeleFinder 5.6 BBS * TFDEV Network Hub 532 Verna Trail North, Fort Forth TX USA 76108 Voice=> (817)367-2558 Dial-In=> (817)367-2712 Fido=> 1:130/1015 TFNet=> klonezone.tfnet.org Inet=> kz.eaze.net www=> http://kz.eaze.net
