Ted:

Things are bad enough for us sysops with those bullets on the User Manager screen, and now you considering changing the clients to toggle the saving of the password off. I do not need the extra work that inadvertently turning this OFF, will cause. I would not object so strongly if there were a less painful way for a sysop to SEE THE PASSWORD IN USER MANAGER, so they can fix problems on the fly.

A large number of my users are not in my local area, and use a variety of methods to contact the system from a host of different locations, including the ANSI/TTY method through telnet whch does not automaticaly save anything. When they forget/loose their password it is really a pain to reset their passwords over and over again. Additionally, it it more than just a call down the hall when they are in Japan or Europe and I am in Fort Worth, so they won't just pick up the phone to fix this.
