This is not the issue--any text file -- as of the final version of telefinder 5.7 does not make its text available to usersa who double click on that file from the desktop if that file hjas been uploaded using any TFwindows client.
Insofar as drag and drop io concerned--the windows clients do support dragging from the windows desktop to the BBS but not from the BBS to the windows desktop, nor (last time I checked) between folders on the BBS desktop.
The variouis 5.7 problems (and I hope there are not more of them) have come at a very inopportune time for me, it being nearly the end of the semester. This is not the time of year that teachers or students appreciate changes, and I am considering reverting to 5.6, because I am worried that there are other time bombs buried in 5.7. I don't understand how it came about that there appeared to be so many changes (or so it seems) between the last frec versions and the final version--these did not seem to have the problems that the final version has.
