I am speaking of something very specific here--I mean the save as MS-DOS text with line breaks option in microsoft word--these files are treated differently than just plain old text with line breaks (I dont know what the difference is)--again I suspect that you can reproduce this problem on my machine but not yours--this problem is of secondary importance to me since I can simply instruct people to use text with line breaks--the separate problem discussed in the previous post which is an impediment to any text file being uploaded from a DOor windows machine, is much more important.

I just tried this using tfuser 4, uploading "BITMAP.TXT" to ":sysop files:test files:". It's not 0K and it is readable.>>
