Yes--In still don't understand exactly what has been happening--the data all seem to contradict each other--but the "show extensions" thing seems to clear everything up--Also 3.1 seems to not have this problem and calls up a different lookoing file dialog box--is this true? Is there a 16 bit and 32 bit version?
Also--does anyone know about various versions of the registry file for WIN95--that there are 2 or 3 versions with subtle incomaptibilities?
