While we are on the subject of security, I would like to revive the topic of SSL. It is surely something I will be willing to pay for as an add-on in the near future.
Our school is lurching towards (or being dragged towards) the 20th century--we hoppe to get there before it is over. I know that people are going to want to engage in secure transactions--probably applications and application fees online--and I would love to be there out in front with the solution--I don't want to be in a position where they bring up the topic and I react--mostly by saying "gee, sorry, but our web server can't do this". I know it is expensive, but, again, I would never ask for anything that I didn't expect to pay for.
