It's all very well saying it's a TCP/IP problem and that eventually the node will come free, but Spider Island charges quite a high rate for additional nodes (unless you have plumped for unlimited) and having nodes idly tied up for sometimes an hour is not very helpful when one has clients trying to log on to download urgent material!
Also, there MUST be a bug in TF regarding this because even if the sysop notices the problem and tries to stop the node it will just hang and still take ages to reset, unless you do a force quit of the whole program.
Whatever the cause is, this IS a TeleFinder problem. Maybe Spider Island should consider upgrading the licenses for sysops that are having this problem to unlimited nodes until SI has come up with a solution.
