For some unknown reason the Finger plugin on my site states that I have no plan. I have a file called profile in the pub folder and even replaced it with one that is in my pub folder on SIBBS. TF/User returns the"Profile" file in my folder when I enter my name from the "Locate a user" menu, and then choose the "View Profile" option, on both my system and SI BBS, so I suspected the finger plugin. The settings boxes for "Finger Options" are all checked.
I have replaced the finger plugin that I had on my system with:
One (version N/A) from the C++ Framework folder ( the one released prior to the version 7 folder, which does not contain the finger demo. It does not return a version number in the web server log either, when requested from the "Plug-Ins" pulldown )
One extracted from the "Bonus Plugins" archive currently online in the Sysops file section (Also version N/A from the Finder, but reports version 1.0 when requested from the "Plug-Ins" pulldown)
One extracted from the "http://www.spiderisland.com/~wsapi/Sample_Code/finger-plugin.sea" archive (Also version N/A from the Finder, but reports version 1.0 when requested from the "Plug-Ins" pulldown)
