Rusty,

I am in the process of developing an IS plan that will serve my corporation for the next several years. For many reasons OS X Server will be at the center of this plan. As you know, I have used TeleFinder Server for many years and for obvious reasons I would like to continue to do so.

I expect that I will be able to run TF Server unmodified in the Yellow Box. This will hold me for about 12 months or so. Eventually I will want to run TF server, Mail Server and User Manager as processes under OS X. Actually the sooner I can make this transition the better. Right now I am running TF Server on a separate Mac. Like wise I am running a Web Star server and a Corporate server on separate machines. It would be a significant savings if I could conduct all that work from a single computer.

I realize that OS X has many of the features that TF Server offers and that I could just purchase the server change my accounts and accomplish what I wish w/o using TF. Making that sort of transition would be much more time consuming and would not offer me the flexibility that TF has afforded me in the past. I would not care to do this unless I have no other choice.

I would appreciate it greatly if you could let us in on your general plans for moving TF Server to OS X. An approximate timeline for the move would be very helpful for me as I make my plans for the future. I'm sure that this information would also benefit other sysops who are no doubt in the process of making similar plans.

Thanks in advance for taking the time to address these concerns.
