The server (at the University's Internet center) I use for relaying mail from my board is changed to use a MS Exchange server (AFAIK) on MS NT. Since the I started having problems in sending outbound mail. The mail server log always starts with
5/4/99 0:00:29 (SMTP Client) Opening connection with mimoza.marun.edu.tr 5/4/99 0:01:45 (SMTP Client) Error 3 Failed to open the connection
and keeps repeating the same messages over and over again. There is no problem with incoming mail however. The sysop there does not know how to handle the problem. Any idea what is going wrong?
I checked the MSExchange server's settings and had a feeling it has got something to do with its router settings. Is that right? If yes, what should be the settings, etc?
