HI Eric:

I do not know the answer to your questions, but I do recall some dicsussion regarding problmes with evaluation of SPML variables and conditional code. I do not know if this has been fixed. Another issue that may be of importance in this application would be security - especially if this were used in a method like a web accessible private file area or mailbox. Unless separate realms were established for each user, any user that supplied a login could view the contents of the directory. A plug-in on the server could circumvent this problem without the same level of risk, since it could query the User Manager program to determine the correcxt path to the user's mail box. Directory contents in the users' mail folder below the web space level could be made accessible via relative links. Directory contents above the User's webspace level are not normally accessible, probably for security reasons.
