Before Spider Island BBS was shut down, I made Rusty Tucker an offer from the sourcecode that I considered very reasonable. He never even bothered to return my calls to talk to me about it. The value of the sourcecode is less every day that another customer turns to a supported product. If what I type here gives you the impression that I am angry and dissapointed about it, then my written words are clear.

There is a compelling reason to convert the integrated functionality missing from all web servers, that was built into TeleFinder, but that will not happen. Instead administrators must cobble together a set of server and CGI programs to provide a subset of the functions, and we still do not have drag and drop or speech synthesis support.

New versions? I'll believe that you make new sales.

Sorry for my negative attitude, but I invested quite a bit in this and I'm am more than slightly dissappointed that the serious problems in the software I found and informed Rusty about prior to his closing SI's doors were not fixed. These make Fidonet participation almost impossible, and until just now (thanks to your hint regarding the plugins), I could not even run the Web server on this Beige G3 under MacOS 9.x!!! I do not know why there is a difference between this G3 box and the 8100, running the same stuff, but there is.
