I sent the below EMail to Stan Lunetta, and Bill Davies. Stan replied that I should post it. But not all that many folks do enogu up and down loading to have it matter much. But I sure do. And so do some others. So here:

Hey Guys !
Stan, remember when I asked you, some time back, if there wasn't anyway to automate the uploading, in some way? There is, after all, the "file basket" to download. Why not something to help with uploads?

With the number of files that I handle, both up and down, and at several other BBSs as well as MacNexus (You know...I'm always "trading"). So this search for some help uploading was of some import to me.

Well........I think I've "discovered one! Hardly new technology, simply new application of the same old stuff. But, if you guys weren't aware of any method, then it didn't exist, in practice. No matter what undiscovered
potential was existent.

Like so: Instead of Dx clicking the "Upload Here" Icon, and then in the Finder that is presented, selecting the files to upload.........I drag the files to the upload icon. Well......so what? Well... I first assemble a group, in a separate folder, and then (I find it best to set "View by Name") I shift click the whole bunch of files, binding them together as a group. I then drag the group to the
upload icon - yet am careful to actually have only one - the uppermost of the assembly - actually touch the upload icon (messing up this will cause this plan to crumble).

TeleFinder happily accepts the first, and again uppermost of the assembly,
and uploads it. Then it pauses for maybe two or three seconds, and goes right on to the next file down (which is also next in the alphabet, viewing by name
as I said).

I've used this procedure about a half dozen times now. And at both MacNexus and a couple other BBSs. I have assembled from 10 to 20 files at a time - all to upload. They all did. I haven't had any trouble whatever. It works dependably enough that I can actually go to bed. ;-)

I'm a happy man. And I thought I'd let you guys know.

See Ya,
Francis
