I can tell you for sure that it works. On a couple of occasions I've installed the mail server which had (i assume) spiderislands ips in it and have spent several hours scratching my head wondering while all my memebers are getting rejected by the mailserver....

This is a very pressing problem for us and we were threatened with blacklisting of our mailserver as part of anti-spamming rules here. The only way that we have been able to sort this problem out is to route the mail via a UNIX box which is protected by a firewall. Other TF users might not have this option and could well find themselves on the list of blocked mailservers. <<
