Which means that anyone who receives mail from someone who has configured their mail client (for whatever reason) to put different names in these fields, generates mail with an incorrect return address.(macjordomo being one of these)
Should they in any way rely on the return address field in order to extract the return address of the sender (which seems eminently reasonable in some cases) they can't.
This explains why, when I was in the BIAP chat discussion, my emails all went to chuck directly instead of the list.
