When a PPP connection fails, each TCP node throws up a dialog box, and these dialog boxes are stacked upon each other. The nodes that first fail seem to wait for other nodes' dialog boxes to clear via a timeout mechanism before clearing themselves. This sequence results in an inordinate amount of time before the BBS is clear. I think that the mechanism of fault is common, and that there should only be a single dialog box to clear before BBS processing resumes. --- Daniel O'Leary, Sysop KloneZone Mac - A TeleFinder 5.6 BBS * TFDEV Network Hub 532 Verna Trail North, Fort Forth TX USA 76108 Voice=> (817)367-2558 Dial-In=> (817)367-2712 Fido=> 1:130/1015 TFNet=> klonezone.tfnet.org Inet=> kz.eaze.net www=> http://kz.eaze.net
