The latest releases (5.6x) do not appear very friendly to MacKennel sessions. Regularly scheduled polls that formerly executed without incedent on pre-5.6 versions now fail miserably because something is really causing lag on the phone line. Even when I have MK in the foregraound I can get failures due to lag at the serial port (as measured by status responses from MK in its own windows. This may not be a TF problem but I think that it is either that or MacOS 8.x. Can you do anything to improve the time given to apps that are not in the foreground?
