I'm sorry. But as a very avid user of a TF BBS (Not just as a Sysop) I have the following comment.
If my mailbox opened everytime I logged into TF, I would go bezerk. Anyone have an automatic message popping up at a users login? Or any text document that pops up at login? Anyone ever complained?
Let's put it this way. If you have users who are not smart enough to read or find a way to delete their mail, It's not on the TF Proggramers shoulders to make it MORE idiot friendly. It is on your shoulders to EDUCATE your users. Besides, what is more user friendly than File>delete? Hey, here's an idea... let's make TF automatically pop open a new mail form when we "sense" that our users want to write e-mail....
