Subject: uploading web file

As with all requests for "features", if the feature is already there, please let me know.

The proble I have been facing is that users want to manage increasingly more complex web sites. The process of painstakingly creating them folder-by-folder and then uploading the files into the folders has brought some complaints, especially when there exist (apparently) one button site managers which automatically upload new files to one's web site, or just uploasd the entire site. Can't say I blame the--who wants to stand around loading files over the modem. Likewise, if we can create folders using a dialog box (which has no keyboard equivalent), why can't the server software creat folders when a folder is dragged from the finder into a web-space folder?

The people who make this argument aren't amenable to "cold shower" lectures: eat your spinach--it's good for you. They want convenience. Is there an argument that I can give them about why this exervise is **really** good for them? Is there a 3rd party plug-in which supports this?
