It looks like that the concept of having virtual servers ( multiple TF servers) will work. The only problem I have is how to share access with chat rooms.Lets say: serverA ( server covers all A usernames )shares files and info with serverB. A user searchable database of users would be simple enough I would think using a script for say...200,000 + users.I still am thinking along the lines of usin the client software here. Why? Well it is the real reason AOL sells. An older system I ran was very close to getting the AOL type client interface.Very cool and sysop friendly. All done in window script if I remember right. The problem was that the server itself never came close to TF's power. Rusty is dead-on with the AOL concept. The problem I see it is to be able to offer such a service. O.K plan B seperate servers via function. Server: usermanager /server: mail A /server mail: B/server: files A/server: files B/server: files C/ server: chat/..does this make sense? AOL does not have just one server doin the " shaken the bush for ya Steve thing " ;-) Don McHose
