Many thanks to everyone who pointed me in the right direction with VIG, this has got to be one of the most impressive Mac applications I've seen - even those Intel types are impessed that they can surf the net through it.
I still use MaxTF to ping every 3 hours to ensure we pick up mail regularly, as altough MS will open a connection to send mail, I can't be sure this is going to be regular enough for the amount of mail that comes in, after all email, was supposed to be instantaneous - I can use Royal Mail if I want delays!
One problem has now arisen though - when a PC connects over tcp/ip, the gateway automatically dials out to our internet provider.
I have checked the IP address of the TF client and it matches the port the TF server is one, so I don't understand whats gone wrong..
