I have seen fragmentary references to the INTERNET CONFIG extension and application in these conferences, mostly in reference to SPML. Is it necessary to run internet config to have TF properly report jpeg files to browsers.
both AOL and microsoftExp seem to do OK (under 5.5B10--explorer couldn't understand inline jpg's under 5.1.3A--is this true?)
But when I try to open a .jpg image from my board using Netscape, only text appears in the browser window--netscape's faq's suggest that the server is not informing netscape properly about the nature of the file that it is sending. Is this true? Does internet config correct this? Is there anything special I have to do to internet config to get it to do this correctly.
