I currently have PPP 24hr net access to station ip 146.226.200.102.
Problem is that: The router and the BBS/web server cpu are both on 146.226."207".[0-256] LAN.
Since the mac at 200.102 (All Macs) do not support muti-homing, I am stuck with not being able to concurrently link via PPP as 146.226.200.102 and link to my LAN/Local Intranet [146.226."207".[0-256].
Now, eventually, the provider for 146.226.200.102 is to enable/recognize 146.226."207".[0-256] on his end. Unfortunately, this is dragging on for months for whatever reasons. While I try to resolve that, I would like to somehow, preferably using a router and freeing up the cpu currently dedicated to my internet connection, get my BBS back on the net A-N-D available on my LAN.
My Router currently handles PPP remote access to my BBS/Web Server beautifully. Now, if I can get it to also route 146.226.200.102 traffic in a way that will allow net access to my BBS/Web Server ...
... No more Mac cpu dedicated to 146.226.200.102 !!! ... No more file sharing necessary for Mail Server to handle local mail and internet email !!!
