Any help anyone can offer on the following problem would be greatly appreciated; Running telefinder client on several stations on a LAN. Proxy server is Wingate 2.1d. I've punched a hole on port 1474 up to the Telefinder server we access. Problem is that the connection and authentication process are successful, and then instead of the BBS page coming up, the connect dialog box just stays on the screen diplaying the status message "Waiting for host." I don't know exactly what it is the client software is waiting for the host to do. Knowing this alone would probably be enough information for me to solve the problem. Client works fine on a direct modem connection (PPP session).
Second less important problem: Cannot get Telefinder to 'see' a Performa 6360 geoport modem - how to config?
