I have been successful in forcing a 28.8kpbs modem connection with my internet provider, using the F19 command with a Microcom Deskporte ES 28.8 modem. Has anyone else tried or needed to do this. There have been no CRC errors or retransmits that I have detected as yet, and the modem has been in operation several hours at this speed, pulled in Usenet, etc.
