<Hi, I'm having a real problem, I just purchased a pair of USR v34+ (33.6 <capable) modems (stock Mac versions), and I'm finding that alot of users are <transferring files at about 600 cps, sometimes uploading, sometimes downloading, <even though they've connected successfully at their modem's speed. I'm not sure <yet, but it seems that this doesn't occur to the same user(s) every time, ie. if <they disconnect and call back, there's a good chance that all is OK. Does anyone <have any suggestions as to what I did wrong? Everything was fine until I <switched to these modems, so I'm assuming that the problem is not from the <caller's side.
You have just discovered the first feature about US Robotics. They are crap! Take them back to where you bought them from and ask for something decent like a Supra or a Hayes.
